Natalie pouring red wine for guests at a Douro vineyard table

Wine retreats · supper clubs · private trips

Drink slowly.
Travel closely.

Small-group retreats through Europe’s quieter wine regions, pairing dinners with a chef I trust, and private trips built around the way you actually like to travel.

The idea

Wine tastes different when you’ve met the person who made it, and better still when you’re not the one driving.

01 · Wine retreats

One Region. Seven Days. An Intimate Group

I keep our groups small so we can travel as guests, not a tour group. We linger over long lunches, visit family-run cellars, and share the table with the people who make the wine.

02 · Food & wine dinners

A supper club with a sommelier’s list

Six courses, six pours, twelve seats. I choose the wines; my partner and chef, Myriam from Round My Table, creates the menu. Together, we make sure every pairing has a reason and you leave knowing exactly why it works.

Natalie Shardan, founder of Roam with Red

The host

Meet Natalie

I’m Natalie, the founder of Roam with Red and your host along the way. I created Roam with Red for people who want to travel a little differently. I’m drawn to the places, tables and people you might miss if you’re simply following the itinerary. The family-run vineyard, the long lunch, the winemaker who sits down to share a glass. Wine has always been my way into a place. It has taken me from one region to another, introduced me to incredible people and producers, and taught me that the best travel experiences are often the ones that feel the least like tourism.

Through small-group retreats, supper clubs and wine experiences, I bring together the places, people, wines and tables that make a journey memorable. Come as a guest. Leave with stories, new friends and a few bottles you’ll wish you’d bought more of.
